🫐 Origin & Processing
Our wild blueberries are harvested by hand in the northeastern forests . This means the northern forests of Poland, the Baltic regions and Finland . In these natural forests there are still plenty of wild blueberries.
Not cultivated , but grown wild, just as it should be. The blueberries are freshly picked by hand, washed twice , gently freeze-dried , finely ground and then immediately filled into the violet glass.
We always use the whole blueberry , not the pomace. This is the only way the taste is as it should be, because it is rare to find such a natural powder. At no point are the blueberries heated or anything added to them.
🛡 Bottling WITHOUT additives
The 100% wild blueberry powder is guaranteed under the highest hygiene standards, without fillers, additives and without flow agents and is filled into the violet glass.
Bottling is done in a controlled environment so that the blueberry powder can be bottled into the jar cleanly and without pressure . Many use high-speed machines that have a negative impact on the product.

Blueberry powder oxidizes over time in plastic containers and paper packs and loses quality from the day of production. In VIOLET GLASS this is impossible, as it increases the shelf life and also maintains the freshness and quality

Intake:
Add 2 teaspoons to water, juices, cereal, smoothies, bowls, dressings and porridge. Shake well and tap before opening the can.
Freeze-dried powder is extremely moisture-absorbing: we recommend using the jar at normal intervals after opening. Always screw the lid tightly and store it in the fridge, ideally. If you take the jar for 2 weeks and then leave it in a warm apartment for months, it may clump/harden.
Always keep cool, preferably in the cellar or refrigerator .

Ground to death and dried to death:
Time and again you see that powder is "milled to death" . Often it is a purple powder with no structure, sometimes you can no longer recognize the blueberry . Usually the components are filtered out so that it is pure purple.
Unfortunately, many healthy substances are removed from the powder. But these are exactly the components that make up a high-quality blueberry powder. Like tartar in wine . Wine connoisseurs know immediately what is meant here.
A widely used drying method is spray drying . Here, the temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius. This causes many nutrients to be lost or even destroyed.

Storage of freeze-dried powder
Freeze-dried fruit powder naturally tends to form small clumps, unless fillers (additives) are added. In Germany, the additives do not have to be noted on the label if the amount is below a certain level.
That's why you usually don't find this mentioned. It's a deception of the customer.

Different smell, color?
Our blueberry is a 100% natural product. It is exposed to nature every day. Depending on the weather, the color and the taste and smell vary slightly.
The absence of sun, for example when there is a lot of rain in the summer or winter, causes the blueberry to have a fluctuating color. Since we refuse to improve the blueberry with colorants, the color fluctuates.
How is harvesting carried out and cleanliness ensured?
The blueberry grows on a bush between the trees. Only the blueberries that are still in the air on the bushes are harvested by hand. This ensures that the berries do not lie in damp conditions for days or that there is no animal droppings etc. on the berries.
After harvesting, the berries are washed twice and then sorted. Only top-quality goods are used. Everything below that goes into the juice processing, which we have nothing to do with. They are then freeze-dried at very low temperatures.
This process would completely eliminate any components that would still be present despite washing (very unlikely, as it is top quality and the washing is very thorough). The powder is then gently ground and sieved.
Only then is it slowly bottled without pressure.

What is the best way to store the products?
It is important to understand that our products do not contain any additives. This means that there are no stability additives like those used by other companies, which sometimes do not have to be declared ...
Therefore, always screw it on tightly. Do not store it in a place that is too warm (below 21 degrees) and do not place it in direct sunlight.
For blueberry, dragon fruit and vitamin C capsules, we definitely recommend storing them in the cellar or even the refrigerator for longer periods of time. Once opened, these three products should be consumed as freeze-dried powders absorb moisture from the surrounding air and some of it gets in every time they are opened.
Can I take all the products together?
That depends. First of all, it is important to understand that we are talking about "whole foods". All of our products, except for D3K2 and K2, are whole foods. They contain a wide range of nutrients. The nutrients are utilized step by step in the digestive process at the right time and in the right place.
But if you have a mono selenium and a mono vitamin C, then they can cancel each other out.
If you have mono nutritional supplements from other companies, please separate them from ours, because natural and unnatural substances should be separated.
A few rules of thumb: keep green foods like spirulina away from antioxidants (vitamin C etc.) for 1.5 hours. Chlorophyll is not supposed to be completely compatible with antioxidants. But again, the statement goes: a "whole food" also has everything in it, so this is just a tip if you combine other food supplements with ours.
Shipping to Packstation in summer and winter?
In principle, it is not a problem to send to packing stations. The problem, however, is that it can be very hot in summer and partially freezing in winter. This has a negative effect on the products. That is why we would recommend not sending to packing stations.
